The proposal makes sense. The tsfile-viewer is indeed more closely related to the TsFile format than to the IoTDB engine, and moving it to the Apache TsFile project will help better align ownership and future development. The iotdb-tsfile-viewer is a standalone tool for inspecting and analyzing TsFile data. Its functionality is closely tied to the TsFile format rather than the IoTDB database engine itself. As the Apache TsFile project continues to evolve as an independent effort focusing on the TsFile format and its ecosystem, it would be more appropriate for tsfile-viewer to be maintained under the TsFile project.
