Bhargav, Dimuthu Next week I'll be doing the mid-term evaluations for you both. Maurizio and I will be discussing progress so far, and whether we think there's enough there to warrant you continuing into the second half of the programme. (In case you hadn't picked up on it already: as mentors we are asked to be very strict in assessing progress; as a first time mentor myself and therefore wanting to do things "by the book", well, that is what I intend to do).
Anyway... can I ask you please to both ensure that you keep your commits coming in regularly to your respective repos. As I write this I see no commits in either for at least 4 days. But I do get the impression that you are both working away, given the various questions on the mailing list etc. So, as I say, Maurizio and I need to see evidence of your progress... and the only way we can do that is seeing commits coming in. What I also want you both to do is to prepare a 3~5 minute screencast demonstrating the features now implemented in your viewers. There's plenty of technology available... one that is free to use is Jing [1]. I'd like you to have prepared these screencasts by the end of Wed (31st July, 5 days from now), please, and uploaded to youtube. I'm sure those in the wider Isis community will be keen to see what you've produced to date. Finally, it was great to see that you both updated your sprint plans for this week without me chasing you, so thanks for that. What I also want for next Wed is an updated backlog, clearly identifying what you think is achievable within the remainder of the programme. We'll then start a new sprint the following week. Many thanks Dan [1] http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html
