Thanks for the response. Below is the code I'm using

    private String response;

    @javax.jdo.annotations.Column(allowsNull = "true")

    @MemberOrder(name = "Response", sequence = "11")

    @MultiLine(numberOfLines = 10)

    @TypicalLength(800)

    public String getResponse() {

        return response;

    }


The issue is I still get a <textarea
name="leftColumn:memberGroup:2:properties:1:property:scalarIfRegular:scalarValue"
disabled="disabled" id="scalarValue17" cols="35" rows="10"
title=""></textarea>.


What could be wrong?
