Hi Dan,
Not sure how adventurous you feel but we just released Wicket 7.0.0-M1.
It is a milestone release but I think it is as stable as 6.15.0 + the API
improvements we were able to do.
It uses CGLib 3.0 (ASM 5.x) so this will help if you need wicket-ioc for
anything.
The risky part is that once you face a bug you will need to start using
7.0.0-SNAPSHOT until we release the next version with the fix.
