I have though about this too and decided it was not worth the effort:
1. The project name is "Apache Isis" and named after the river Isis [1]. So
spelling the project wrongly only ads to the confusion.
2. Apache Isis was here before that other organisation. And will be here after
[2].
So unless the the current project name prevents community members from doing
their job I'm biased to close this issue to "won't fix".
