Dan Haywood resolved ISIS-1358.

Resolution: Not A Problem
The 1.12.0 version of the archetype correctly excludes the jetty jar files. It
also has a profile which adds them onto the classpath so that the
org.apache.isis.WebServer utility class can be used.
