Just used:
pushd core
mvn versions:set -DnewVersion=1.15.0-SNAPSHOT
popd
pushd example/application/simpleapp
mvn versions:set -DnewVersion=1.15.0-SNAPSHOT
#manually edit pom.xml ... change isis.version
popd
