ISIS-2158: _Annotations: simplifies the synthesizer proxy
- attribute inheritance:
For getting an actual attribute X from multiple discovered Annotations
of a given type A, we iterate through the elements in {A} 'nearest'
first and pick the first value for X that is different from the default
value (D) for X as declared in A. Should this search turn up no value we
pick the default value D.
