Resolution: Fixed
Turns out we needed 6 mixins (3 for JDO and 3 for JPA) on this
ApplicationUserManager VM to make this work, such that the framework recognizes
the concrete entity types involved both with the 'new user' action dialogs and
the all-users collection.
The missing label issue originates simply from the fact, that we used
interfaces instead of the concrete entity types, which do not have all the
meta-data needed to derive correct UI behavior. I think especially missing
information what category (bean sort) these interfaces are placeholders for.
