It was originally marked for 1.1.1 but I changed that to 1.2 since it's an improvement rather than a bug fix and makes non-trivial changes to the handling of node states. Thus I'd rather have it tested in trunk for a bit longer before releasing it. However, I'm ready to reconsider if there's enough demand and Stefan considers the change ready for release.
