Hi Esteban,

In 1.4 QueryNode instances are not created directly anymore but a factory is used now: org.apache.jackrabbit.core.query.QueryNodeFactory. There is a default implementation available here: org.apache.jackrabbit.core.query.DefaultQueryNodeFactory

See also SearchIndex#DEFAULT_QUERY_NODE_FACTORY

Hi all.
I was wandering why the QueryRootNode was made protected, instead of public like it used to be. In our application we have our own LuceneQueryProvider that contains a QueryRootNode field, but this doesn't work anymore with 1.4.
How can I work around this?
