while merging changes done to the Oracle bundle PM back to the 1.3
branch (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-1400, backporting https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-940)
I face the conflict that in the 1.3 branch the driver version check
and logging is commented out, whereas it is enabled in 1.4 and the
trunk. The issue https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-1116 has
enabled the feature and improved the logging in the meantime
(introduced for 1.4, before JCR-940) - shall I backport it as well,
aka enable the check?
