hi, after some more tests with the datastore i startet the garbage collector against a "old" repository where i have enabled the datastore (it is empty) with one existing workspace (OraclePersistenceManager) as persistence manager and about 190000 files in it to find out how long a scan will run ...
i started the gc and after about 4 hours it was finished. i think this is a very long time. is there a way to make the performacnce better ? i know that all nodes must be read to find out if the binaries in the datastore should be delete but the size of the workspace in production is 5-6 larger than the tested one. thanks claus
