Support searching parent nodes in query brackets

We need to be able to do the following inside our application:
/blogs/blog/[EMAIL PROTECTED]'Jackrabbit' or ../@author='Dan Diephouse']
The example is contrived, but the need is real. Neither "../" or "parent::"
seems to be supported currently. See this thread for the original discussion:
