Not yet a written plan, but I'd like to branch Jackrabbit 1.6 in a few weeks after which we can replace the current JCR 1.0 dependency in trunk with JCR 2.0 and start working towards Jackrabbit 2.0. Much of the JCR 2.0 implementation work has already been taking place since last summer using the org.apache.jackrabbit.api.jsr283 extensions in jackrabbit-api. BR, Jukka Zitting
