Hi all,
We are in the middle of upgrading from jackrabbit-core 1.4.5 to 1.5.4 and
noticed that with 1.5.4 many more ItemStateExceptions on the root node occur:
javax.jcr.InvalidItemStateException: Item cannot be saved because it has
been modified externally: node /
at
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.ItemImpl.getTransientStates(ItemImpl.java:282)
at org.apache.jackrabbit.core.ItemImpl.save(ItemImpl.java:931)
at org.apache.jackrabbit.core.SessionImpl.save(SessionImpl.java:846)
(the root node is STATUS_STALE_MODIFIED)
What has changed between 1.4.5 and 1.5.4 that might cause this?
