Hi, To answer Thomas' comment from JCR-2128, I'm still planning to do the 1.6 release.
The current blocker is finishing up the backup/migration tool I added some weeks ago (JCR-422). Mostly some extra work is needed in how to best handle search indexes and the data store. The reason why I want this tool to be included in the 1.6 release is to simplify any migration tasks that may be necessary when upgrading to Jackrabbit 2.0. BR, Jukka Zitting
