I gave a quick look at the current state in the sandbox branch, and I'm pretty
happy with how this has turned out!
Agreed about targeting this for Jackrabbit 2.0. We should start looking at
merging the changes back to trunk so they'll go out in the 2.0 betas for more
testing before the final 2.0 release.
