licheng created JCR-3409:
----------------------------
Summary: The index folder occupy too many disk space during our
stress test
Key: JCR-3409
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3409
Project: Jackrabbit Content Repository
Issue Type: Bug
Components: indexing
Affects Versions: 2.2
Environment: window XP + JBoss + Oracle
Reporter: licheng
In our stress test, 15 threads are keeping create/update/delete JCR nodes.
During the process, the index folder occupied more and more disk space, from
dozens of MB to 5-10 GB, and then to dozens of MB. And then the space keeps
increase again, then to normal size...
In the configuration, mergeFactor, maxMergeDocs and minMergeDocs all have the
default value. E.g. mergeFactor is 10.
I'm not sure it it is an bug, and it's really annoying to us and make our
custom nervous.
If it is not a bug, how could I do to reduce the disk space to some lower
value, such as hundreds MB?
Thanks in advance.
