Hi, Jackrabbit 2.7.0 came out in May, I think it's a good time to schedule a new 2.7.x release later this week. This version will also be used for the upcoming Oak 0.9 release.
The plan to have a unified release cycle for jackrabbit and oak is still in effect, this is just one more release along the way. best, alex
