Hmm, that is quite weird, the check works for me.
Apparently there's something funky going on with the svn.eu mirror. I
pinged infra about that.
If you add a hosts entry to force svn.apache.org to point to
140.211.11.4 (svn.us.apache.org), the check passes.
I encountered this problem a few months ago. The servers are out of sync
(at least one commit is missing). I would have thought this was fixed in
the meantime :-)
