Some objects need to have visibility into the number of elements in a list, but
should not return the list itself.
However, there needs to be a way to obtain the actual list of objects when
needed. Thus this ticket deals with these two improvements:
a) Allowing a OCM integer field to be defined where there is a list node, and
it will report the number of elements.
b) Provide a method which obtains all the children of a node in one hit and
converts to the proper Java type.
