Resolution: Fixed
The site is now generated using the markdown files in
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/site/trunk/src/site/markdown/.
see the https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/jackrabbit/site/trunk/README.md on how
to regenerate the site.
note that the site only updates the 'jackrabbit/site/live/jcr' directory.
handling the entire site is very slow, since scm-publish checks out the entire
tree.
