Tobias Bocanegra commented on JCRVLT-142:
-----------------------------------------

Oak allows to alter the primary type, even if the child nodes will result in
having undeclared nodetypes.

changing this behaviour in VLT might lead to corrupted repositories. so we
probably should check if it is possible to change the primaryType before
changing it.

> nt:folder not applied if no .content.xml

> A {{nt:folder}} node is serialised into a plain directory w/o
> {{.content.xml}}. When installing such a package over content that has a
> different nodetype on that folder will not alter it.
> example:
> 1. install attached node-slingfolder.zip
> 2. observe: /tmp/testroot/a is sling:Folder
> 3. install attached node-ntfolder.zip
> 4. observe: /tmp/testroot/a is still sling:Folder
> if you do it the other way around, then the content is correct
