Is anyone aware of available tools that could be used to merge 2 (derby / filesystem) repositories ?
We have a customer that uses jackrabbit embedded in our product, and they have a an ~ 1 TB Repository Where the workspace has become corrupted, and the repo won't start up. This has created a production down issue and so we are looking at the best options to correct the situation. (They do not have a recent backup). One option under consideration is to start a new repository and continue to see if we can recover the corrupted repo. Eventually, this would necessitate our needing to merge the repos. Alternatively we could try to repair the existing one. ( We have tried the workspace consistency fix in the workspace.xml file but that has not worked). We can remove the 'workspace' folder from the repo, and at startup it will create a new one, but that loses any linkage to existing content. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
