IMHO it would be crucial to have good test coverage for Jackrabbit FVault in
order to be able to contribute improvements and bug fixes. Today it is very
hard to assess whether a given behaviour is actually intended or rather a bug
or somthing that might be improved.
JCRVLT-292 is a perfect example where I don't feel comfortable pushing a
proposed fix, because I can't decide whether the original behaviour was
actually intended or not... in other words if it's really a bug or works as
designed.
