While reading through the Jackrabbit 2.20.13 Release Notes, we noticed
that RMI was being deprecated, at least in part during that release, and
it looks like over the 2.20.14 release as well. Is there a current
timeline for complete de-support for RMI for Jackrabbit?

Hi Raymond,
we are not planning to remove support in the 2.20 branch (which hasn't
got a planned EOL yet).
We *do* plan to release a new maintenance branch (2.22, based on the
current instable SVN trunk releases), requiring Java 11 and with RMI
support removed, sometime in the first half of this year.
