AFAICT: - this avoids collecting prefixes mutiple times for the same path; this may help, but only if we actually do the prefix collection mutiple times for the same path - pre-populating with all namespace mappings would cause more prefixes to be present in the generated XML; if this is not a problem, we can just remove all caching and export the whole contents of the registry. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
