Hi, I'm Liz. Two years ago, when I joined Thoughtworks, I was working on a tetris game called Hellbound. I imagined that it would be skinnable, and that the first skin would consist of medieval-style angels and demons falling into a flaming pit. (That's why it's called Hellbound.)
When I found out about XP, I decided to make the game my 'breakable toy', in which I could try out all the exciting practices and tools. A week later I heard about JBehave, and decided to use it in place of JUnit to help drive my design. Unfortunately, JBehave was broken. I sent a couple of patches in. Then I sent a few more. Eventually Dan got bored of me bugging him and made me a committer. Two years later, we can now drop glyphs and watch them fall down the screen as time passes. Hurrah!
