Ignore me - I'm smoking crack again.

Hmm. It seems I'm not allowed to post to the user or announce lists (??).

If anyone can post this for me, I'd be very grateful!

Cheers,

Hi folks.

After far too long without a release, I'm delighted to announce the release of 0.9.0 of JBehave.

This represents a huge leap forward for JBehave. In no particular order:

    * we now have a stable and comprehensive story and scenario framework
    * the core has been substantially reworked and cleaned up
    * the MiniMock mocking framework has been cleaned up
    * the website has been replaced with a full-featured CMS based on
      WordPress
    * the example code has been enhanced with a Swing-based Tetris
clone called Hellbound, which demonstrates both story- and
      class-level BDD.
    * we have a Maven plugin
    * we have an Ant plugin
    * we have IDE support for IntelliJ IDEA and Eclipse
    * we have the makings of a comprehensive Swing runner framework
    * the codebase has been re-packaged into a sensible org.jbehave
      structure
    * plus countless other enhancements

The version numbering is deliberate. The last release was 0.5.0, which was still largely a pet project. The jump to 0.9.0 signifies that JBehave now has a solid team behind it and is very close to a 1.0 release (at last!), at which point we will be much more heedful of API changes and backward compatibility.

Enormous thanks to the rapidly-expanding team, especially to Liz Keogh for stepping up to become a project lead.

Please download version 0.9.0 and let us know how you get on with it. We believe it is about ready for prime time.

Thanks,
Dan on behalf of the JBehave team.

ps. The logo, unfortunately, is still there. I tried to kill it off, but it just wouldn't die.
