I agree with Mauro. A point release (1.0.1) should be bug-fixes only. Any changes that affect functionality or APIs should be a minor release (1.1.0) and any API changes that break compatibility should be a major release (2.0.0).

So, now that we have an IntelliJ plugin, a Mac-friendly Eclipse plugin and Liz's fixes, I would say we are ready for a 1.1 release. I'll put together a 1.1.0rc1 release candidate Monday or Tuesday, and you guys can tell me whether it's ready to push to 1.1.0.

Shane: can you put something on the website describing how to bump the number on the IDEA plugin please?

Thanks,
Dan

It may be time for a 1.0.1 release. I've fixed a few bugs and added a couple of features which were desperately needed for running the Story framework on a commercial project.

IMO - new features should require a 1.1 release, while for bugfixes only a 1.0.1 is appropriate.

But there is really no problem is doing a 1.1 hot on the tails of a 1.0, is there?

Before we do the release, can someone try building a snapshot of the eclipse plugin so I can try it out?

Or we could put out a 1.1-RC?

We have a "spikes" project here at my client; I finished spiking the first story with JBehave yesterday evening. Spring configuration mess aside, it looks great.

Cool.

Cheers
