So who are you ...
I'm Mauro, and I've been involved with JBehave it's pre-1.0 days when Dan took it out of "hibernation" ("It's something I've been playing with on and off for a while but it needs to be pushed out and released", he said). I was looking for a tool to replace Fit for automated acceptance testing and I was immediately struck by the simpleness and powerfulness of BDD.
and how would you like to see JBehave evolve?
While I really like the simple text-based input and output, I'm thinking converters to/from non-textual formats that are often used in corporate environments could be very useful. After all, BDD is all about communication with the stakeholders so we ought to be able to "speak their language". Consider these converters as the "translator service". I would still probably insist on having the conversion to text under the hood, so as to enforce the good practice that these should be what get checked into source control.
