Sounds like a good strategy.
Is there anything outstanding for the first version of the plug-in?
I think it would be good to use the Hudson/Jenkins update center to
publish/install the plug-in in the long term. I think this should be under a
separate ticket as there are infrastructure changes taking place on both
projects.
