Why don't you start by explaining your usecase and how you'd use it?

There are good reasons not to put all the data in a file as it hinders readability and communication. That said it may be useful and practical in some cases.

Please post a concrete example of how you'd see it working.

Correct that: you can replace a table with a file content, but not map arbitrarily the rows from the scenario.
