I do not believe users can combine Guava 16 and jclouds 1.7.0. Unfortunately we did not address the deprecation warnings despite the generous notice.
Would "Note: jclouds 1.7.0 is incompatible with Guava 16. Please switch to Guava 15.0 or earlier, or wait for jclouds 1.7.1" sound about accurate for the release notes?
