There may be reasons for keeping it around that I am not aware of,

Now that we have the OkHttp driver, I'm not sure if there are any  
specific reasons for keeping it around. On the other hand, I don't  
recall any maintenance or issues around JSch of late, so I'm not sure  
if there would be any immediate saving.

It would be interesting to know how many people in the user community  
are using the JSch driver. Before we consider removing it, it might be  
worth posting a quick question to the user@ list..?
