Sorry it's taken a while to respond - stuck in the 1.8.1 weeds at this point ;-) Just wanted to say that I'm thrilled to hear you're interested in helping out, and am looking forward to getting moving on this as soon as 1.8.1 is out.
In a different thread, I would also be interested to get some more insight into what your goals are for this, if your users are looking for any features in jclouds specifically etc.
