Now that we have google, azure compute, digital ocean2, and docker started in the new auto style, seems an implicit step backwards for good ole ec2, which has been neglected or at least taken for granted.
I would like to start an Amazon only (no goal of supporting knockoffs) ec2 provider in labs. I would like this to be as clean as the new google compute one and sustainable (ie no crashes when new region add etc). If anyone is interested in helping, ping me. You'll get a chance to learn and define freshest way in a manner far more engaging tham rtfm. If I get any "count me ins" I will open a jira. -A
