I think we all have an agreement that we should release jclouds 2.0 as
soon as possible, and work together to get that done.

Apart from the discussion of the feature set required to release 2.0,
I think we should keep backporting fixes to 1.9.x.

We'll be able to introduce breaking changes in 2.0 that might be
blockers to many people when planning an upgrade. IMO we should take
this into account and keep backporting the patches we can to 1.9.x, to
be able to make a good (eventual) new 1.9 release, even if it is not
planned at all right now, and to allow users to stay in 1.9 some time
after 2.0 is released.
