There is no current release date for 2.0.0. The last discussion about it was here [1], where we put a list of things we wanted to be in that release. The estimations in there and the proposed date were in February, but we haven't been able to implement them yet, so we haven't still planned the release date. This said, most of the features listed there are now implemented. We are mainly waiting for the Azure changes and its promotion to the main repo, and other minor features, so I expect we can finish them soon (any help is highly appreciated!) and have the long awaited 2.0 release.
