But many providers specify the disk size and others in the hardware profile. It is not the case of GCE, but since we're implementing this in compute-core, the solution must fit well in all providers, even when the "explicit hardware profile" just includes CPU and RAM right now (to keep the scope of the GSoC project bounded).
