Notes:
* Ran 'mvn clean install -Dmaven.javadoc.skip=true', which includes
the RAT plugin execution.
* Checked for compiled archives by searching for ".jar", ".bin",
".zip" and ".tar.gz" in the expanded source archives
* Unable to build the blobstore-basics and compute-basics examples. Ran
some basic tests using the aws-ec2 and aws-s3 providers via the Windows
jclouds-cli distribution instead
* This one took many more attempts to verify on my machine than 1.9.3,
for some reason, but in the end things seemed to work out
