It has been about six months since 2.2.1 and I would like to release 2.3.0 later this month. It includes several dependency upgrades which will improve compatibility with modern Java environments and of course many bug fixes. I can volunteer to run this release unless someone else wants to. I will also sweep through the open pull requests to see if we can merge any stragglers. Users can help ensure a smooth release by testing 2.3.0-SNAPSHOT.
