Hi all, I want to run one more jclouds release to include a handful of bug fixes submitted by contributors. Given the few number of changes since 2.6.0 and continued low development activity, I plan to call for a vote to move to the attic immediately afterwards.
My project S3Proxy uses jclouds as a critical dependency. I ran a mostly-successful experiment with a Azure Java SDK-based BlobStore provider and this is the near-term path forward for S3Proxy. Longer-term I may write BlobStores for other vendor SDK and abandon jclouds entirely. Interested users may find useful bits in this project but I do not want to replicate or support all the jclouds use cases. -- Andrew Gaul http://gaul.org/
