@nacx thank you! I think it's a great idea to get rid of those sleeps, I'm just not sure how to. The root cause is that the API throws "operation in progress" type errors when requests are made too quickly to the API. I was hoping @adriancole would chime in - I know he's mentioned issues before as part of denominator development.
