@abayer I guess the myriad of ways I've tried to explain the relationship between http apis and Views have failed miserably. I'll try again.
There is *zero* reason that you need jclouds to have an annotation-parsed http binding interface that returns futures (aka AsyncApi) in order to use futures. there's already enough confusion oput there. Us committers need to really understand this. All AsycBlobStore is an interface that returns futures. For example, the filesystem blob store doesn't use the http binding at all, yet still returns futures.
