Hey All

Would anyone have an objection to us making a new minor point release
in the next week or so?

We'd like to lock down on a stable version of Jena for our product
soon and we require fixes that have gone into the 2.9.3 SNAPSHOTS so
would like to have a stable 2.9.3 release to rely on rather than
having to lock down to a specific snapshot via our internal
artifactory setup.

I am willing to have a go at running the release process if
Andy/someone else can share instructions for doing this

Thanks,

Rob

Works for me - both the timescale and the offer of executing the process

The (scrappy:-( ) notes for a release are here:

https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/JENA/ProcessRelease

but if you want to choose a date/time, I can be online to remember all the things that should have been noted.

I've set the TDB commit write caching to zero for the release as there needs to be an investigation of stability when its set >0. I'd much rather release in the safest state.
