Are there any issues from the Jena side of contributing Jena code to

Specifically, I am wondering about contributing ExtendedIterator,
Map1, and Filter (what I call the ExtendedIterator Package) to Apache
Commons Collections.
I am asking about issues with donation and will ask them about issues
in acceptance.
No issues whatsoever. It's granted to Apache, not specifically to the
project.
Though Iter might be a better contribution (it has been asked about
before). There are a zillion statics to work on any iterator or you can
chain Iter's together.
org.apache.jena.atlas.iterator
Both these can look ugly due to Java overhead.
Roll on Java8 and it'll get better - the standard library has this sort
of thing in it. Woo!
