As a project we don't directly maintain or patch past versions.
Fixes and changes are typically made only to Trunk (occasionally a larger
change/fix may happen in a feature branch) so if users want the latest changes
and fixes they must take a new release as and when they are published.
Users are free to back port changes to their own forks of the code if they so
desire.
