I have failed to reproduce this - the test was a loop of 1000's of execAsk.
The server did not create any more threads nor lock up in thread congestion.
Responses to execAsk are small (about 400 bytes in the SPARQL XML result form
including HTTP response header), and fits in TCP buffering. Therefore, the
server will write the result and complete the HTTP request regardless of what
the client does.
